ok so i just got this car a couple months ago and have been slowely putting it together. Either way i decided to do a rebuild because it had Low compression to begin with... I sent the head to the shop and they said 2 valve guides were shattered and i needed 5 valves. Ok got them replaced. New HG/Gasket kit etc.
While i had it apart i noticed the cylinders looked almost like a mirror (with Wiseco Piston & eagle rods just being, motor had less than 5 miles) i figured i'd hone the cylinder walls because the previous owner obviously didn't. Everything come out to spec but i replaced the bearings anyways, why not.
well got it all back together with DSMlink v3 and a GM maf and i've had problems getting this thing to start. I have fuel & spark. My compression is 175 2 50 40 . with it being new rings and i've only gotten the motor to start for about 5-10 mins this is still to low correct?
EDIT: Oh that is a COLD compression test as i can't get it to run atm
