so i FINALLY finished repairing the crunched front end of my car yesterday. i went to test drive her..... now the coolant, checkengine, and bettery lights are on, but when i turn the blower motor on anything but off the lights shut off, but the fan doesnt go. then i was almost home and the lights got dimmer and dimmer. i parked it and when i tried to restart it the battery was dead.

Your alternator is not charging I would guess, check the wires to it. If not, you may have some other wire pinched or disconnected.

You may just have a bad conetion to the battery my did that when i put my new motor in it looked good and was firm but i was how it was sitting on the terminal.

Sounds like altenator is not charging. Might want to pull if off and take it to your local parts house and have them test it.

Either the alternater is bad or u have a bad connection or some wires hooked up wrong.

+1 Check the Alt fuse under the hood, I had the same problem (besides the crunched front end and all )

I had a similar problem yesterday, I went to leave my house yesterday and my car almost died when I turned my headlights on but the car seemed to recover from it. I didn't think much of it, been having issues like that a lot since I got the car. The battery terminals need replaced.

I drove down the street and took a hard left and my engine died. I got out and checked out my terminals, they were loose. I tightened them up and it started right back up. I need to get a tie down because they keep loosening up every turn I take. I hope this helped some way or another, check your connections to your battery, starter and alternator. One of those is more than likely the culprit.

i had the same exact problem altenator wasnt charging, the alt fuse under hood was blown
