Not sure how the title relates to the question, but if you can start the car without pressing the clutch pedal, it means your clutch safety switch is bad or unhooked. You can live without it, just don't start the car in gear.

Also, a lot of us 2g disconnect it in an effort to prevent crankwalk. :cool:
 
also,it would start wierd...like it will crank half way then stop....then i try again then thats when it starts..sometimes this will happen a lot and 60% of the time it will start...im scared... :notgood:
