Alarm problem..tried searching

My alram likes to go off for no reason...nothing will even touch the car and my alram will go off...any ideas what the problem might be...its the stock alarm on a 97 GST. Thanks

usually its through vibrations that the alarm goes off... So a big truck going by or a loud exhaust can easily set off your alarm.

I'd say get it checked by the a dealer they might be able to help you more or replace it if something is really broken.

your door switches may have gone bad. mine have gone bad and so my alarm will never set or lock with the remote cause it thinks the doors are open. interesting thing is though that the interior lights dont go on when i open the passanger door.... so, uh i dunno....


anyhow, check out your door switches.

that is it because ive been getting pissed at that switch because my light doesnt come on when i open my door...thanks
