ok, i was replacing my fuel pressure solenoid, because i had a check engine light on for it, and like i always do on other cars when i change something electical,i disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Anyways, after im finished i reconect the negative terminal and go to start the car, but when i do it will not start and it basically looks like the aftermarket alarm is going off.

I guess that some of the alarm was removed or it was disconnected before i bought it. :beatentodeath: The horn on it was also disconnected AND i dont have the remote for the alarm either!! :beatentodeath:

Whats happening looks like the hazard lights are going off and all of the dash lights are all blinking, also my turbo timer is going nuts. Im guessing that the alarm needs to be reset or someting, but I dont know how! I need some suggestions!! thanks guys.

Not sure how to tell you to go about it because there are so many different alarms, but you need to find the control box and completely remove the alarm system. I have seen more vehicles towed to our garage because the aftermarket alarm system failed and left people stranded. I don't know whats worse an alarm or those remote starters.

what kind of alarm is it? I have a bunch of remotes for DEI (viper, python, hornet, newer cliffords...ect.) alarms in my toolbox. if you can find the "brain" and let me know the model, i'll send you one with program instructions.

ok i will later today. How big is the control box? i think it might be under the dash, if i link a picture will you be able to tell me if that is it? thanks

i guess nobody knows how to reset it....its unplugged for now, but i'm not sure how safe that would be.

Don't bump your threads. There should be a button under the dash that you can press once you turn the key to the on position. It will cause the light to stop blinking. Try taking the dash part under the steering wheel off and look for a button.
