I have been searching on how to install my autometer Air/Fuel ratio gauge, but I can't seem to find out how its suppose to hook up..I was wonding if anybody could help me..

and do you tap it into the first O2 senor closest to the header or the one nearest to the Cat?

First of all does the Purple wire directly tap into the O2 sensor itself(inside the engine bay)..or do you tap it from the ECU(I heard you do this but on turbo cars)

here is a site that says to do this:

http://www.roadraceengineering.com/instructions/afmeterinstallinstructions.htm

The black wire goes to the ground but where do I hook up the Red wire..it says to hook it up to the ignition switch but I don't know where that is at? and How do I hook that up...is it behind my fuse box under the dash on the driver side..if so how do I tap into that? I need some help on this..thankz ~Dustin

you can tap the purple wire into the upper ecu harness wire that is white with a black stripe. you can get the power from 2 places that i know of. i tapped into the cigarrette lighter power wire, which is the blue one, for the power. but you can also tap into the black wire with the white stripe on the upper ecu harness. i wish i would have tapped the ecu because if you have accessories(radars, ect.) in your cig lighter, the a/f goes nuts when you first start the car and all the lights light up. but after the car runs a bit for some reason it goes back to normal.
