My transmission grinds every other minute. It is usually 1st gear, 3rd and reverse. In order to put it in in first I need to slam it into 2nd first.
Well recently I found out my master cly was leaking so I replace the master and slave hoping that would solve the problem. But no.. Than I change my MTF to pennzoil synchromesh fluid. And still no luck. And it is getting worst now because now 2nd gear is getting a little bit notchy. This sucks..

You bled the hydraulic system very good right because it sound like you clutch is not fully disengaging, you could try adjusting the rod behind the master cylinder.

Is there a right up on vfaq showing me how to do that? I haven't bled the system yet

To bleed the clutch you need to attach vacuum hose to the slave cylinder nipple (haha) and run it into a container of brake fluid, then lossen the nipple, get inside the car and pump the clutch about 15 times, I had to use my hand, and always keep the master full of fluid.

ok. I also notice that my clutch grabs like an inch off the floor. Maybe even less.. Could this be an issue? Pressure plate?

could also be shifter cables i had the same issue with my first talon and it turned out to be the cables

This was happening to me awhile back with my car too. In my case all the i had to do to fix it was adjust the master cylinder rod attached to the clutch pedal. I would try that as it only takes 5 minutes to do.(If you have big arms you might find it difficult to get at) If that doesn't fix it, try bleeding the hell out of it. If that doesn't help it could possibly be the synchros in the tranny are worn out.
