What are your thoughts on the AGP rs60t turbo? spool up time, low, mid-range and top end power? What kind of hp capabilities? Good street/strip turbo?

RS60T is a great bolt-on turbo. Not the worlds best street turbo because of it's turbo lag and not seeing spool until nearly 4k rpm's. I would recommend the SBR G50 or G60 if you want a 60 trim. Spool comes a few hundred rpm's faster and they both support about the same whp.

I have a rs60t but have yet to know how it performs but I think a good person to ask is
Coup D E'Tat he ran this turbo and he is on tuners, just pm him or he will probably write in here to respond. The G60 is a true 60 trim and the rs60t is a 60-1 two completely different.

Yes I know that. I would say maybe step down a bit depending on how much psi you want to run. A 60-1 will make less hp that a 50trim under 20 psi. Plus you don't have to wait til 4100 for full spool. I have seen the G50 spooled at 3300 with the right mods. Plus it will support all the horsepower your stock internals can handle. Very streetable as well...Nothing against AGP though. I'm actually going out tonight to meet up with Steve and some other guys to check out his SRT-4. 26psi, C16 and a new bigger turbo.

I'm not running stock internals, fully built ams shortblock, soon to be forrester race head, 272's, 680cc inj., evo 8 mass air, shep trans, the car is very well built, the only thing I need now is a cyl head and turbo setup, I'm running a 20g now and it just doesn't get the job done. What do you recommend?

Fp 3065, GT35R, something big like that

Good turbo, bad wastegate. Mine blew open at 20PSI, so plan on going external.

Flows good, pulls very good. I saw as high as 49 lbs/min on pump gas with this turbo, but it was knocking a bit at that boost level, and I ended up just turning the boost back to 25 PSI. I still feel that the exhaust housing is too small, but I guess that's the way of things as far as bolt-on housings go, and it's fine for the average Joe. You could always swap out a T3 housing down the road if you'd like.

25 PSI hit a bit after 4,000 (4,200ish,) 20 PSI by 4,000, with FP2 cams and a MBC setup that I was trying to get dialed in (long story,) so full boost may be seen a hair earlier on your car.

60-1 power delivery is insane. It feels really linear, and pulls hard to 8 grand.

Since we're talking bolt-on 60-1's.....which is the better bolt-on 60-1, the AGP RS60T of the FP Red?

RS60T (Turbonetics)
RED (Garrett)

60-1
60-1
T31
TD06H
Bullseye Housing
7cm or 8cm Mitsu

-The cost of the RS60T is much less, which is nice.
-The Red's 8cm housing should outflow the Bullseye.
-Some people prefer one name brand over the other.

The RS60T is the better bang for the buck, but the Red is tried and true.
