We know what the Green/Red is capable. Its a well known. Give the AGP turbos a chance and I think you will see the same thing.

No offense but I don't see what you're saying? Do you expect someone who wants to upgrade now, to wait until it becomes as proven as the FP turbos?

Well i'm just asking for a little info on the turbo because i want to get it. I know not many people have it and so i'm trying to do something just slightly out of the ordinary and stray from the main group. I just wanted to ask other people about the turbo because i haven't found much info on it. I just want to have a decent idea of what i'm getting myself into and also learn something along the way as well. But this thread is really starting to get out of hand... so yeah... :dsm:

Rubbersidedown,

You sound like you've made up your mind already and you're just looking for a few people to agree with you. No kidding the turbo isn't as proven as the Green. I highly doubt it will be for a while longer. That doesn't mean it won't. From what's been seen so far, it promises just as much, if not more. I may end up getting it but don't plan on it yet, I don't know anyone with the turbo and haven't driven in an AGP eqipped car, so it's difficult for me to convince myself to buy it.

proven to do what?? proven that someone can run 10's. NEWSFLASH they would have run 10's on a L2r, SB ETE or whatever else. are you really that naive to think that time was run exclusively because they used a green turbo and no other factors made that 1 10 second pass possible. Come out of the fog people

let me guess, john force is what ?a 7 time world champion because he is sponsored by ford right:laugh:

I think you should make a sticky out of this and tell the large amount of skeptics out there how braindead they are to not see how obvious this is. You're absolutely right. Ughh stupid me...

NEWSFLASH they would have run 10's on a L2r

Woulda coulda shoulda blah blah blah!

All this talk about what a turbo would/could/should do is hella ricey, and why i'm getting on to you guys...

All i ever talk about to my friends is how i want nothing less than the L2R turbo, if not the L3R.

No one has put out anything impressive on the turbo's yet, but all i hear about is how they're so badass.

Yes they SOUND badass, but untill they actually BECOME faster than the green, which is a turbo i've never even looked at, hell i've never even been to the FP site, stop talkin and get to runnin/tunin!

i wish i could get turbo and start tuning but i'm a little short on $$ and the L2R is f'n expensive as hell. i'm already in debt and come this winter... i'll be in a whole lot more. heh. :thumb:

No offense but why did you start this thread in the first place if the turbo isn't even within your budget?

nothing was in my budget at the time... but its good to make plans and educated decisions instead of buying impulsively. i'm making goals and getting organized. i will have the money or the means to get the turbo by this winter. i was just using this time to get all the necessary info before i go and spend my money.

Buy the turbo you want from the company you trust that meets your needs.

So why don't you just say to him you should get a Green. AGP is a new company, how is he supposed to trust them over a company that's been around for many times as long?

Please show me where I told him not to get a Green and I will answer that for you. In fact, show me where I told him to get an L2R.

This isn't getting us anywhere.

Its damn simple. If you want turbo, there are lots to choose from from lots of vendors. Get the one that meets your goals and you have the most confidence in. If it's the Green, so be it. They are great turbos. Even if it's a Mutt or a turbo from Slowboy racing or a GT series from Magnus motorsports or an L2R from AGP. In the end it's all personal preference.

AGP is a new company.

I bought there turbo becasue I know the guys personally and heard all about the testing of them 6months before they were even discussed on any message board. It had the latest technology and Dual BB center cartridge.

Please look at thread startes post he metioned nothing of any other turbo but the L2R and info on it.

As soon as the second poster metioned the Green it went all downhill.

If the thread starter metions a turbo that is the turbo you talk about.
Seriously how hard is that.
