I get asked through out the day what these colors are for by many people, some on here some not so I figured I'd just post for everyone.

PIONEER (models before 1999)

P o w e r

Memory (+12v Constant) - Orange
Ignition (+12v Switched) - Red
Ground (-) - Black
Illumination - Yellow
Phone Mute - Yellow/Black
Power Antenna - Blue

S p e a k e r s

Right Front (+) - Gray
Right Front (-) - Gray/Black
Left Front (+) - Green
Left Front (-) - Green/Black
Right Rear (+) - Gray/Red
Right Rear (-) - Black/Gray
Left Rear (+) - Green/Red
Left Rear (-) - Black/Green


Sony, Alpine, Pioneer (1999 and up), Eclipse, Kenwood, JVC, etc

P o w e r

Memory (+12v Constant) - Yellow
Ignition (+12v Switched) - Red
Ground (-) - Black
Dimmer - Pink/White (Alpine only)
Power Antenna - Blue
Amplifier Turn-on - Blue/White
Phone Mute - Light Blue (Sony only)

S p e a k e r s

Right Front (+) - Gray
Right Front (-) - Gray/Black
Left Front (+) - White
Left Front (-) - White/Black
Right Rear (+) - Violet
Right Rear (-) - Violet/Black
Left Rear (+) - Green
Left Rear (-) - Green/Black
 
I know that in my GST, a few of the colors were incorrectly labeled via Vfaqs and I had to figure them out via trial and error. If I still had the car I would post up what I had discovered, but alas, I don't. Good post.
 
Just to clarify, I believe these are the colors on the deck side of the harness.

The colors for the interior wiring harness radio wire colors are on vfaq.

Anyways, this can always be helpful!

Wiring radios is a pain if they aren't new in box without manuals.
 
Yea sorry I forgot to clarify! Thanks Lofty. It is for the Deck itself. Vfaq already has the car' harness covered so i won't copy and paste
