Hey guys :)

I bought my car (98 eclipse) used a little less than a year ago, and the previous owner had after market windows installed. Lately, they have been going up REALLY slow, and make a horrible stressed sound when they do....Today they wouldnt go up at all, but they would go down. Could this be the battery?? Or could it be just the aftermarket window motors are going dead? The radio and everything else work great.

Thanks for any insight guys :D

Could be the motor. Or, it could be the windows are really off track and it has trouble going up. Take the door off, check and make sure the windows are on the track correctly. If they are, replace the motor.

Find out where they had it done there is usuallu warranty work on that kinda think.
