afpr fuel pressure

My fuel pressure is set at 43.5 when i take the vac off. but when i put the vac back on the fuel pressure is like 38. is this normal?

My dsm has aeromotive afpr 5000, 560 evo injectors, aem fuel rail and 255 walbro.

Also i notice my car uses a lot more gas then usual. for 250 miles i used a whole tank. i think

When you have bigger injectors it sprays more fuel, but those arent much bigger than stock. Perhaps tune up/Boost leak? Also, the fuel pressure is normal when you put the hose back on. I have 850cc injectors, 255hp pump, aeromotive afpr, and I still get around 350 miles per tank.

Yes, this is why you set BFP with the vacuum line off

What is your AFR? has the car been tuned? what are you tuning with?

i have nothing to tune with, i only have afpr right now.

That is why you are using so much fuel, it has to be running PIG rich. Get DSMLink, AFC, AEM, something to tune with and a WBO2 to keep an eye on your AFR. An engine running too rich can be nearly as bad as running too lean.
