Aerosol automotive paint..

I have painted my own fenders many times using Aerosol can. Just get good paint preferably from a paint shop that can match the paint and put it in a can for you. if you are going to use it for a bumper use Flex paint. For a bumper you will need at least 2 cans of paint. Dont listen to them if they tell you to use 1. You only need about 1 can for the clear coat though. Looks good if you do it right and sand, sand, sand.

Now as for painting the whole car; it could be done but I dont think you would want to since an aerosol covers much less than a paint gun and to do it right, you will have to apply i in very light coats wasting a lot of paint. And to buy enough aerosol paint to do the whole car, you will spend a lot of money. As much as buying a compressor and your own paint gun and paint. If you buy that, then it will save you money in the long run and if you get good enough using it, u can paint parts for people and charge them. Soon it could make its worth back.

Good luck. :thumb:

And your more likely to screw up with an aerosol spray can. Orange peel and tiger striping is notorious when using cans. You have to have a pretty good wrist to paint decently with a can.

It would also help to get the widespray cans. I think most of the plasticote brands have the widespray cans. It will cover more area than a basic aresole paint can.
