So my buddy just installed his Aem Wideband. Well for some reason it wont read at idle. It starts at 15 then goes to the "---"

But we no its working because when he gives it any gas it starts to display. So whats your guys input on this? I am thinking an exhaust leak. He said he is positive he isnt lean.

Thanks in advance guys

I myself have not got to check it. But I will be tomorrow. Just trying to get some ideas.

From what I know he said all the connections are good. He thinks its a exhaust leak as well.

When I installed my AEM WB, mine would read 10.0 at all times. It was running rich at the time, but that number wouldn't fluctuate at all.. So, we took the sensor out of the bung, and turned the key on the on position for a few seconds until it leaned out. I had the car on (not started) for about a minute before turning it off, then reinstalling the sensor and after that it worked perfectly. I'd give that a try if i were you.

EDIT: re-read and noticed it worked under throttle.. not sure if this^ would help you, but it's worth a shot?
