I was just wondering what the advatages of rewiring the fuel pump besides the fact of 12vs all the time.

Your voltage to the fuel pump actually drops in higher rpms. That is not a good thing, if I had a stock or aftermarket pump I would re-wire. It may be ok on the T-25 because it falls off at higher boost, but I would still rewire it. It is very inexpensive and if it ever saved you from leaning out it was cheap insurance.

Besides all of the benefits listed above, it gives you a chance to wire a kill switch in for the pump. Hard to drive the car off with the fuel pump killed. And it becomes much easier to compression check the 2nd generation car which lacks an EFI fuse.
