I have checked out jacks transmission video. But I have stopped because his video is not very clear. I believe I have a different adjusting rod because I can not just loosen the nut on the rod whenever I move it I moves the whole rod too. I'm guessing it is aftermarket and all I have to do is adjust it accordingly. The only reason I posted this is because I can not see anything underneath this cap connected to the pedal. Mainly because of my big head. Being my first time I do not want to get this wrong. Any suggestions on this piece?

I'm sorry. The picture did not post.

Here it is.

The nut has to come loose right there.

On the back on fire wall right before that black seal use some vice grips to hook there and stay. then after that break that nut loose. make sure you go the right way to break it loose. then you can adjust your rod after. I turned mine 2 1/2 time to adjust it at a time. then. snug that nut down. don't tighten to much in case you have to adjust it out more.

Ok. Everything worked out great! All the shifting issues in 1st, 3rd, and reverse have been solved. I just took it for a test run and it feels amazing! Thanks to the great instruction video and your help. This makes me very happy!!!
