Adding rods without taking off head?

Well i just got my motor back from the machine shop with new psitons, cams etc.
One thing I did not add was performance rods, so what I would liek to know is if its too late to add rods or can I add the rods without taking off the T.belt and head?

Can they remove the oil pan and change rods from there?

Yes it's possible. Do exactly what you said, drop the pan and pull the pistons out from the bottom to change out the rods.

Actually it 's not possable, you have to take the pistons out from the top they won't fit out the bottom of the bores. If it is a 6 bolt and you plan on staying below 350-400hp I would say leave the factory rods. If you are going to go above this number then I would change them while the motor is out.

No you cannot change the rods without taking the head off.the pistons have to go in from the top because you have to compress the rings to get the pistons to slide in and you cant use a ring compressor on the bottom of the motor...it wont fit.
