I was cruisin down the road when I hit a pretty big bump, and I didnt really notice at first, but i couldnt boost at all -- 0 psi. I pulled over and checked all the ic pipes/vac lines to the wg actuator, nothing. i was stumped. Then i thought to check the actuator arm.. maybe it fell off? bingo.. it was disconnected.

my question is: im guessing there is a cotter pin there to keep it on? all I have to do is slide it back on and secure it w/ the cotter pin i guess, right?

Man.. driving N/A really sux... the difference is like night and day.

Especially a motor de-tuned to survive under boost. Welcome to a 1925 engine.

I got the arm back on after some tugging, but the old cotter pin broke inside its hole. any other options?

Hose with PB Blaster, get a small trim nail and grind the point off, and try to drive the broken parts out using a ViseGrip as a press. Depending on the amount of corrosion and how pissed-off the head of your particular church is with you, it may press out. Hold the nail with needle-nose pliers so you won't demolish your fingertips when the effer launches the nail into space.

mine did the same thing, cotter pin broke in there and arm came off, i just used some pliers and tugged on it til it came off, and reused the broken cotter pin since i didn't have a spare one on me.

if you're feeling particularly cheap, a paper clip would probably work for a while LOL!
