Ok well ive finally gotten the ball rolling on my rebuild. Ive been talking to my buddy at the shop and he recommended a 2600 but then he remembered i have a 7 bolt. Now he says I should just do a 6 bolt bottome end, which i would do if i had the money but this has me thinking, my motor hasnt crankwalked in 125k miles, what are the chances its going to do it with putting a 2600 in? BTW im making this motor a 2.3l stroker, if that would effect your opinions. thanks guys.

Before you install it, check out Ludachris's thread on the act 2600. Read the posts and that should help you more than anything I could tell you.

Good Luck
