Hey all,
I recently added a ACT2600 and Fidanza flywheel to my 91 Talon Tsi AWD. I now hear a grindy vibration noise on coast down. When I say coast down I mean with the car in gear decelerating. The noise stops when I accelerate, or push in the clucth.

I checked the 5th gear play when going from accel to decel, and the shifter doesn't move at all.

I read in the Fidanza paperwork that came with my flywheel, that there could be increased driveline noise, but I'm not sure if what I am hearing is "normal".

Have other 1G AWD owners with the ACT2600 and Fidanza combo experienced the same thing?

Thanks,
Kevin

There has to be someone that has the same combo as me. Let me know if you have the same problems. Thanks,
Kevin

You do have the same vibration on deceleration, or you have the same combo. I'm not sure what you mean. Did you ever find out what its from?

Same combo and same slight vibration at decel.

I added dynamat to the trunk of my car and under the rear seat. Helped with the vibs. Well, can't hear it as much now.

Just a quick add- I changed from an ACT clutch/Flywheel to Fidanza Clutch/Flywheel (Aluminum) and now had a growling vibration coming from the engine bay.

It's only on decel while in-gear around 3500 RPMs. Goes away if I apply throttle slightly or push in the clutch.

I have an Ebay clutch and flywheel and does the same noise in decceleration, also on idle in neutral it will make like a clak clak noise and when i push in the clutch it goes away, I took it all apart and everything seems fine i think its because of the sixpuck.
