Act 3200 feels like stock pedel pressure!!!

Dont ask why i have a 3200 on my car, long story from slowboy... the problem ive been having is just the clutch pedel being nearly stock to the touch. it seems to engage and everything fine when i drive around. im breaking in the motor so i havent really seen if it can hold any power. any idea what could be causing this? the slave cylinder is brand new and ive tried bleeding the clutch multiple times.. I have had a 2100 and the clutch pedel is about the same... any help would be great, i just want it to work right, thanks....
 
some people say the 2600 is harsh it feels near stock to me but holds the power. I guess I don'y have calves like a petite woman. My wife can drive the 2600 with no issues and she is a petite woman, I never drove a 3200 maybe some of these guys need to hit the gym :D
 
I guess it could just be im used to if..i went and test drove a few new cars today...got back in my car and it felt stiff as f**k. LOL i felt stupid stalling my own car twice as i left the dealership:coy:
 
just the opposite happens to me, after driving my act 2600, everything else feels like putting my foot in water, its like there isn't even a clutch pedel there.

I got in a stock 2003 Civic Si and I could barely drive it. It felt like the clutch was sticking to the floor and my left foot was so used to being pushed back up that I had trouble because I had to lift it myself.
 
I was having trouble switching between my 01 Jeep Cherokee and my Talon with the 2600 for a while, but I guess I've gotten so used to switching that I really don't notice now.
 
when I first got my talon I daily drove it for about 1000 miles, then when I got back into the minivan, at 3k rpms, I pushed in the ebrake and reached for the non existant shifter. automatics shouldn't exists, my head hurts just thinking about how hard I hit that steering wheel.
 
Theres seems to be word roaming around that ACT changed the manufacturing process on their 2900 and 3200 pressure plates redesigning them to engage better. Ive heard of people saying the 2900 engages alot smoother and feels like the stock clutch than the 2600. If you bleed the clutch and there is no air in the system, car goes into gear everytime, and the master clyinder is not leaking then you have nothing to worry about.

I just installed act 2900 with the slowboy 4000 disk, and to my complete surprise the clutch is lighter, engages smoother and is more streetable then all the 2600 cars I've driven.
 
thats no fun, I was hoping that after I installed a 29 or 32, I actually would be the only person who could drive my car, and I would let people try and drive it and just laugh....


there goes that...
 
uhhh, well that doesnt make any sence but ok...i was just curius because i also thought it would be hell to drive around with this clutch...well thanks for everything again
 
It does make sense. The fulcrum is repositioned on the higher clutches yeilding a softer feel, but the same heavy grip.
