ACT 2100 Engages Fast, Is it a problem???

I just just got my act 2100 clutch in yesterday and it has 15 miles on it as i write this. my problem or question i should say is that the act 2100 engages about maybe 3/4 to an inch right off the floor, and once it engages its fully engaged!!! i just want to know if this sounds right, because if it doesn't then i'm taking it back to manch mitsu and having them do something, cuz it doesnt seem right at all, also i gave them directions on how to take out the clutch restrictor, from what ive heard on how it feels, i think they removed it yet they said they wouldnt....i might give them a call but if you could fill me in with any info i'd appreciate it!!!!! thanks

mine engages right off the floor almost too. as lon as it's to engaging when the pedal is all the way down I wouldn't worry about it. adjust the pedal. I'm kinda hopeing having it engage so soo and disengage so late will help prevent any kinda excessive pressure that might cause a crank to walk wishful thinking

look in the vfaq.
Basically you would loosen the clutch rod lock nut under the dash, and hand turn the rod so that it screws OUT of the master cylinder. Just a turn or two will make a big difference. Try it a little at a time. Make sure you tighten the nut back.
Just follow the clutch pedal up till you see the rod attached.

It's a 12mm nut on there, adjust that now before you mess up your tranny. It is easy to do, just keep adjusting it until you get it high off the floor.
