i have a friend thats telling me my new rod and/or main bearings i bought from ACL arent going to fit.
he said something about them not matching up perfectly because of wear or something.
can someone clear this up for me or back up what hes saying with some proof.
i dont really understand why they arnt going to fit.

You should not have your crank re-ground. Our cranks are nitride hardened and grinding them removes that hardened layer. Get yours micropolished or find one that is used and in good shape if yours is in bad condition. Our cranks are pretty hardcore stock so it takes some abuse to mess them up.

Never mind, I just saw that you have an eagle crank. Eagle does have bearing requirements:

From Slowboy's website
"Eagle states you must use ACL chamfered bearings"
