I just bought a 92 eagle talon tsi AWD everything stock besides a 3inch downpipe and BOV with a 255 fuel pump. the engine was rebuilt about 20k ago. the problem that im runing into is that when sometimes i try to accelerate like pedal to the floor the turbo starts to spool then it sputter's and it feels like im getting no power. Could it be my TPS? Fuel Injectors? please if i could get a answer that would be great!

Thank You, CherryAWD

May be getting to much fuel. You have a 255 fp and no way to control it on a stock turbo and injectors. That would be my first guess. I just had kind of the same problem the other day adn took some fuel out and ran like a dream

Sounds like a boost leak to me, check all your intercooler connections and make sure they are tight. A pipe may look like its connected but when the pipe is pressurized it may be leaking enough to cause you to feel it. This would explain the "too much fuel" problem too since you are losing air, your A/F ratio is messed up and the engine falls on its face.

It has good plug's and wire's. should i try a new fuel pump?

Do what i said first before buying a pump its easy to do... You might also have a hole in your intercooler, you can build a boost leak tester for cheap if you buy the right parts. Search for boost leak tester and you should find it. But you should be able to visually see a loose connection or hole...

sorry to add this in kind of late but when i was just driving it i nodiced that when it does that the check engine light comes on and when it sometimes doesnt sputter the light is off?

1.Boost leak test
2.To much fuel pump

Check these in that order and you problem should be fixed.

Also if your CEL is coming on and off check the wiring on your o2 sensor maybe the wiring got to close to the dp and melted the coating. If one of the wires is severed then the o2 signal could be causing the prob

well i have some boost leaks that i need to fix. my fuel pump is fine. and the best part is that when i moved my o2 sensor wire's the car stopped doing the sputter.
