When I start to accelerate at a stop light the car does not pull off quick it is very slow and all the other cars behind me are right on my bumper what could be the problem.

Since you're posting in the Non-turbo area, I assume you're either an RS, or GS. What year is your car, 90-94, 95-99? Are you automatic or 5-speed? You don't have anything in your cars profile.

What mods have you done?

Based on what you've said, since we know nothing about your car. I'd say push in the accelerator more.

i've had this problem before too but it's cause i wasnt accelerating n laying off the clutch correctly. when i do it incorectly, the car feels like it weighs a ton n wont move at all at first.

I'm going to suggest that you are used to a faster car and this one just feels slower.

Don't rag on the a604

The a604 owns juuuuuu :D .....Check your plugs see if they are gaped properly....Check your air filter and see if it is dirty.

Push down the accelerator all the way. When I was buying my 5SPD RS, I test drove an automatic RS because I didn't know how to drive manual at the time. It was a little slow but I've definitely driven cars alot slower. Eithe your not putting the pedal to the floor, or you've got some serious problems.

I definatly was not trying to make fun of anyone, Sorry if you thought that. Thats true to, I drove a friends celica before and thought it was too the floor, It actually has more to go it just felt like it was to the floor.

hmmmmm your 2gnt automatic is slow ehh..... and you also say you have a problem??? what is it? ;)

Don't forget to check your O2 if you have over 80k ;) Made a good difference on my car and I have a 5 spd.
