I did a timing belt job on my '96 Eclipse GS along with the bearing pulleys bc one of them self destruct. So when everything was put back together, fired it up and it now idles rough like its missing. Note that it wasnt doing this before the job and I've done a 'full tune-up' (cleaned filter, cleaned TB, cleaned cumbustion chamber(used seafoam), new ngk plugs, wires, pcv valve, fuel filter, oil change, new cooling system, DIS checks good..) all done recently.

At a stop, you can feel the car shake just sitting at idle missing. Sometimes rpms would drop down and die or almost die coming to a stop. I've also noticed my gas mileage went down by about -30mi to a tank. The CEL have illuminated before but never check and since I've reset my ECU couple weeks ago it hasnt come back yet.

any ideas?

Double check all timing marks. Often a culprit. If not then check to see if you accidentally knocked off a hose (maybe pcv hose?). Or check to be sure plug wires are totally on and firing. Did you do the tune up items at the same time? If so double check. Also, when the bearings "self destruct" did your belt slip? If so you could have bent a valve. Check comp.
That's a start.
Good luck,

x2 especially about the bent valves

Thanks ill look into that also with compression test. Another thing I should add is the timing mark on the crank is set half a tooth advanced(right side of mark), since I couldnt perfectly line them up. Not much but I was wondering if that could make a difference.

Nevermind your compression test for now. Your timing is not done properly. It WILL make a difference. You hear people talking about interference damage so often because their belts fail while the engine is operating at speed. Before you get to the point where things are making contact in the combustion chamber, you will lose compression. No compression means no engine worky.

If you know the timing is off, you need to bite the bullet and tear it down to redo it before anything else. Any compression numbers you might get from a test now are going to be tainted by the valves not opening at the right time.

REDO YOUR TIMING.
