So the last peice of the puzzle for my AWD swap (which i'm doing this weekend) is the AC bracket for my intermediate shaft the bolt up to. I misplaced mine somehow when i did my rebuild, i thought i threw it in with all my junk spare parts after deleting the AC all together. So i understand the whole compatibility with the different years and brackets, the intermediate shaft and bracket from my donor car is a 97-99 style. Now my question is, will it be possible to not run the bracket at all and just use washers instead?? From my understanding the driverside bolt hole on the axle bracket uses the A/C bracket as a spacer and bolts to the block, and the passanger side hold bolts directly to the block, correct?
