How do i install the accessory belt for the ac compressor. The guy before me didnt have the belt on to save gas mileage so all i have to do is intsall that. If anyone has a diagram of the belts or anything like that, that would be great. :talon:

LOL im in the same situation as you and its getting hotter than hell outside, so i would also appreciate it if someone could lead us in the right direction on how to install an a/c belt

Um it's not really that hard, go to the parts store and get the belt, come home pop the hood, slide the belt down and around all of the pulleys, they go over all of them and not under any pulleys. There is a bracket with a pulley on it that has a bolt you screw in to tighten the belt, loosen this up all the way until you can get the belt on there nice. Ok now screw the bolt on til the belt is nice and tight, you will have to run the car a few times to see if it is still going to squeel but you'll get the right tension eventually.

wow, probably the most vague description of how to do anything ever. :notgood: I'm sure the noobies appreciate the very detailed instructions you provided. WTF

It's a freaking belt man wrapped around a PULLEY, a PULLY = simple machine, therefore not much you can DO besides loosen it, put the belt on it, and tighten it back down. You wanna tell me what else YOU had to do to put a belt on
