first off, about two weeks before all this occured, i had a inner tie rod socket put on which made my steering wheel WAY off(meaning not being straight) ok, i had my 98 GST lowered on eibach sportlines and KYB AGX shocks and i got new falken tires and a front and rear camber kit. after getting the car back from the shop last Friday, i was VERY impressed with the way the ride handled and had no problems. I had the car aligned on Tuesday and noticed that when i left the car handled like SH!T, if i was sitting at a stop light and let go off the wheel and then took off the steering wheel went right, and the car seemed to catch a groove in the road or hit a bump or something and it would jerk the steering wheel and move the car very quickly to the left about a foot and i would have to fight it to pull it back in line(this gets worse the higher speed that you are going) Also, if going down the interstate and the gas pedal is floored, i have to fight the car to keep it in a straight line because it wants to go right and if i take my foot totally off of the gas the car will then try to go left!!!!! this is very strange to me, i took the car back to the alignment shop and they said that the alignment is correct and that the car is too low because the control arms arent pointed straight out or something...but this doesnt make since because i KNOW that alot of you all are lowered too and cant be dealing with this problem because it is pretty dangerous. i took the car back to the place where i had the shocks and springs installed and the guy there drove it and said that they f'ed something up under there and i am taking it to another alignment shop on Monday.
Thanks guys!
