good choice man. like i told sbr i tried the"honda fuel setup"(bigger injectors and pump) and never got it to work. i never even got close.Randomrage said:Decided to stick to the stock injectors and the 12:1 fmu for now. Only thing is, Im a dumbass, and I dont have any fuel lines for the fmu yet. D'oh! More time! Now we gotta figure out where to mount the fmu, then measure out for lines, then get the lines and fittings. ARGH! This damn thing is never going to be done.

yes it is ok. i have had my fmu hooked up for well over 1 year with no problems. the lines for the fmu don't need to be braided. should coust you all of 8 bucks.Randomrage said:Would that be ok pressure-wise and all? I dont need braided lines?

DSMcrazy3 said:I thought it was 1/4" hose?
DSMcrazy3 said:Yep I've got 1/4 inch fuel hose. I would say get that, because chances are, that's what the nipples on the FMU are. Be sure to get High Pressure.
One ? though..Why didn't you just go with a Johnny Racecar FMIC? Their 8" core is only 215 shipped and then you can just get U bends off of Summit, have them cut and welded to fit. Would have come out to less than 600+ I believe.
Looks good none the less
you might be right about the 1/4. i think i am running 3/16. not much differenct between the 2. lets do some fractions 4/16=1/4. so there is almost no difference. if i remember right i bought my hose at pep boys in agusta ga. and they were out of 1/4.Randomrage said:Ok, thanks a million!
Well it took me the better part of a year to piece together the custom turbo kit a paycheck at a time, and I was admittedly getting impatient. I came into some spendable money (new job, higher pay) did like a day's worth of research, and came up with that kit.
What turbo are you running, and when do you hit full boost? TIA!

oh yeah it looks like sidemount piping but it is fmic

my waste gate doesn't dump into the down pipe. it dumps into the atmosphere. i used to think it was loud. then i installed my exhaust cutout and i can't even hear the wastegate anymore. the down pipe isn't really a long story.Randomrage said:I like the red themes, thats nice. And all my ic piping runs down the driver's side as well. Hey, pm me that dp story, sounds interesting.
Edit: Just noticed your wastegate. Mines going to do the same thing, dump right into the downpipe. How loud is it like that? Not very, I hope.
lerz @ u all
DSMcrazy3 said:As for the BOV flutter, from what I understand it is a knock off that comes with the kit...With a knock off, some work right, some don't.
and you well love that dump sound. In my car it doesn't come alive until it opens then its nothing but spinning tires i can't wait to see your dyno #'s or ET's
XMasta19 said:don't part throttle boost....if you look on the back of your bov, you'll just happen to notice the tensioner bolt
cs82685 said:where do you have the vac line for your bov run from, right off the intake manifold or teed off of something else?
good luck man you are so close.
