a/t upgrades, end clutch kit?

Hey guys, I have never done anything with an automatic transmission before so I might sound stupid, but I am just looking for advice.

My a/t is 100% stock right now, and the first thing I want to do, other than flush and add an trans cooler, is replace the end clutches.

I have always heard that the Alto Red Eagle clutches with Kolene steels was THE best clutch pack material ever. But, I have also head wonderful things about IPT, and their end clutch kit uses Raysbestos clutches. Which end clutch kit do you auto dsm guys prefer and recomend?

Also, does anybody offer high stall converters and modified valvebodies for our a/t's other than IPT? Who would you recomend?

End clutches are a maintenance item, not an upgrade..I wouldn't replace them unless OD was gone or a trans overhaul was being done....If it ain't broke, don't fix it...JMHO

Should be looking more into valve body mods and tcu mods first.

Replacing old worn out stock items with new updated items is an upgrade in my book. But, when replacing the end clutches and main clutch packs, should I go with Alto Red Eagle clutches/Kolene steels, or IPT/Raysbestos clutches/steels?

Nobody has any info or opinions on the Raysbestos Blue clutches or the Alto Red Eagle clutches/Kolene steels?
