hey all, since im a newbie and i have to ask my question here and not where i should be asking it, im sure my responses will vary. i just bought a 92 talon with a tranny prob.
the person i bought it off of has driven it daily, it has all new just about everything on it and it is in very good condition, only has about 140k on it. he drove it to and from work on day, woke up the next day to go to work again and the car started but the tranny wouldnt do anything. i was told that it could be a pump located in the tranny, but for something to drive and make absolutely no noises or grinding or slipping before it goes out has gotten me confused. i believe that it may just be the linkage or a vaccum line. what do you guys think?any help is greatly appreciated.
