The car is a 1993 Eagle Talon TSI AWD.
The problem is a rubbing sound coming from drivers side front tire area.
It's about 10 degrees Celcius outside (48 F). The sound is there through all normal operating temperatures. The noise is only there while the car is in motion, not just under acceleration. The sound is there in reverse also.
I recently replaced the whole axle assembly to the transmission on the drivers side, both halfs of the axle and all parts attached to them.
I've felt underneath and I have not found any thing that shouldn't be there. I'm fairly sure it's not the brakes, because it does not change during braking.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
