A question about fuel pumps

After coming across something in another thread, I've got a question.

The fuel pump on my 90 Eclipse GS had gone bad, and not knowing much about fuel and tuning or anything like that, I figured, why not replace it with a better, aftermarket pump? So I bought a Walbero 255 fuel pump and put it in my car. Was this a bad choice? My car's not turbo, and as far as mods go I've got headers, downpipe, straight pipe, cat-back, a short ram air intake with k &n air filter, ported out intake manifold, and a Unorthodox UDP.

so basically what i'm asking, do i need to put like an OEM pump back in? or should i try to get an AFC and do some tuning, or do i even need to do anything?

If anything personally you shoulda went with a 190lph walbro instead of that 255. Now as far as the safc question goes I honestly think you could lean it out enough to makeup for the pump flowing that much.

Either buy an safc and try to lean it out.
Buy an FPR (fuel pressure regulator) to try and lean that out.
Sell the pump and go back to an oem
Sell the pump, get a 190 and hope you can lean it out enough with an safc
