I just bought a greddy type s and am having some problems tuning it. I'am using the second valve t'd into the waste gate acuator line. Every time i punch it and it gets to high boost it studders? why would this happen? is the bov letting out air to early? And the last question/ problem is This blow off valve doesnt seem as loud as the stock one, am i tuning it wrong? what would be a good setting for this application harder or softer? Also I have seen a couple gst's and gsx able to dump there bov's on a rev how can i do this? Thanks in advance

if you have a boost controller it should be fine if you dont have a boost controller well either way hook it up to the nipple closest to the throttle body if you have a boost controller T it into that line if no boost controller your bov should see the WGA

Does it studder when your holding wot at full boost? or does it studder when you let off the gas at high boost? Also the greddy type s isn't really much louder than stock if at all. It is still a recirculated bov. It doesn't sound like you have an intake, that will make the bov much much louder you can't hardly hear shit with the stock airbox. Also get a hard intake pipe and that will make it louder. If you don't get the hard intake pipe then cut the dump tube and that will help with loudness. As far as knowing how hard to or soft to set the bov, you just need to test it. Tighten it up more and drive it around if it still does it then tighten it up more. If it doesn't blow off and causes compressor surge then you went too far and you need to loosen it up. TRAIL and ERROR
hope this helps....

there seems to be a very wide range of OK settings. I had it pretty loose and tested it, and everything seemed to work fine. Then I tightened it up quite a bit and tested that, and it didn't seem to effect it at all. Works fine either way, so how do I know which is ideal.

It studders when iam at wot not when i take my foot of the clutch, like something is holding it back. any suggestions? Im guessing it is a leak somewhere.

Well i fixed the problem, the weird thing is by taking the reciculationg tube off the problem was fixed? I dunno
