I have a similar problem to one in another thread talking about a grinding sound when I let off the gas except the noise that i hear is almost a knocking sound, not a continuous grind or anything, but a "thud thud thud thud" a few times a second, like something's spinning and hitting something... the faster the car is going, the faster the noise. But the biggest difference is that the noise my car is making still happens when i have the clutch pushed in and the only time it goes away is when im accelerating. Also It doesn't make any noise while at idle.

What those are saying is that the thud is coming while under acceleration. In my case, it only goes away when i accelerate.

Maybe I was misunderstood when i put "the faster the car is going, the faster the noise" I just meant that as the car is slowing down to a stop, the noise gets slower... that would have been a better explanation LOL.

That is of course unless that still probably is my problem. Lemme know, cuz if my car is gonna be out of commission for even a day, i gotta plan a few days in advance to make sure i got a ride to work and all that.
