me and by buddies were out last nite crusing around and a clicking noise started , so i pulled over to check my air in my tires... it was low so i figured that might be it so i filled them up , but nope wasnt it still was clicking .... the clicking noise doesnt happen while im breaking or when i take turns.... do you have any ideas to what it could be .... thanks pat

Is it more of a clunking noise? Like clunk clunk clunk and if you hit the brakes its stops?

Sounds like you got a bad rear bearing however check to make sure you dont have a pad bouncing around in there.

If the bearings are ####ed and the hub can move back and forth, the rotor's and pads will knock on each other. Hiting the brakes makes it go away because the pads are closed on the rotors it sorta holds them in place so they cant clunk back and forth.

Also REALLY!!!! wrapped rotors can do the samething but if they are that bad you will feel it when you brake normally.

Ahh well check that first. Well you are doing it check the bearing too though. You will have it all ripped apart anyway so you might as well.

check the springs too... had that problem with my front.. ended up my springs were messed up and changed them out. Problem seems to be fixed now.

Hi. I know this is an old thread, but I have the same problem. The cause of this noise couldn't be the same since I do not have awd, right? Thank you in advance.
