i have a 92 eclipse non turbo and every since day one since i got it the a/c dont want to work. the a/c doesnt want to turn on it only turns on when i put direct current into it and i know theres freon in the system because when it did turn on it would blow cold.theres no current coming into the plug that connect on the a/c compressor. what do you guys think might cause this problem?

See if there is current going into the cycling switch. Should be located on the drier. Even a low system will blow cold but the cycling switch won't allow it to kick on. Are you sure everything is plugged in?
