Calgary,
so its summer and i drive alot ..
and the a/c works fine.. while the cars is driven.
BUt as soon as i let go of the gas and the RPMs drop. it kills the engine..
Any ideas?

im sure it needs to be recharged.. i cant see fluid what so ever. But no noise from the compressor, and the milage seems to be ok.

if it uses R134a, you should see small bubbles going through the site glass. Otherwise you probably need to fill it. You dont want to get the point where you fill it and cant see tiny little bubbles, for R134a that too much. You really want to go by pressure in the lines, read up on the specs for freon pressure. High and Low sides.
