Last night I blew a coolant hose and antifreeze went all over the motor and such. After that(as far as I know) my A/C compressor has been making a funny noise like a squeeling noise when its OFF when crusing at 2000RPM or higher. When I turn on the A/C the sound goes away. Someone told me there is antifreeze on the A/C clutch and to blow it off and ittl be fine. Is that right? If not what else could be the problem? Please anyone help the sound makes my car sound like poo. Thanks.
