A/C Fuse Keeps Blowing (20Amp)

I haven't used my a/c almost 2 years now. I was looking at my fuse box and noticed one fuse was blown so changed it. After checking it again It was blown. I don't even have to turn the A/C before it pops. If I turn the A/C on, the green light turns on and I only get hot air. Any reason why this might be happening and what else is connected on the same line on the a/c.

Well that obviously indicates a short somewhere check with and multimeter all of the switches.
However, if you don't use your ac just rip it out thats what i did in my dd. you only need the heat in the winter.

The defrost will work with the heater too. Or is that connected to the a/c lines.

The defrost mode DOES command the a/c compressor to run. If the fuse pops even with the a/c & all other climate controls "off" then there is a short to ground after the fuse but before the ac/climate control system. Look closely at the fuse box & make sure no wires in/under it are chaffed/cut or grounded . . .
