Hey guys.
1995 Eclipse GS-T
I'm having a problem with my AC belt that it won't stay on the bottom pully. The problem is that it's rubbing against the plastic casing that goes around the timing belt. I have yet to take off the pully and make sure that the casing is seated right, but from looking at it from under the engine it looks like evertying is straight and seated correctly. Also from low RPM's you can hear the pully rubing, cause it's making a squeling sound.
I've attached 2 pictures, picture 2 I've highlighted the area of what I'm talking about.
So my question is has anybody else run across this problem before and if so what's the easiest way to fix it. I'm thinking of taking off the pully and filing down the casing a little so it no longer rubs.
Thanks,
Jusitn
