A/C and Heater not coming on.

My a/c was working just fine then, as i put it into first, it just died on me. Both the heater and the a/c will not come on. THere is not air coming from the vents at all. I already checked the fuses under the dash and the hood, but they all seem fine. Any suggestions? thanks

Do they just shut off like that? Its weird how it was working all day then as soon as i put it into first after being at a stop it just shut off on me.

Yea man . . . it`s an electrical part - it can crap out at any given time with virtually no warning at all - check for 12v. power at the blower motor with the heat or a/c on - if you have juice to it & it doesn`t run - it`s fried for sure . . .

How would I go about doing that. I searched and found the resistor under the glove box, but how can I test it?

Are the HVAC controls controlled by vacuum? I know that they were on my blazer and I had this problem it turned out to be a vacuum leak.
