When it is really cold outside I go get in my car and drive to the exit of the neighborhood, I press the clutch in when im fixxing to stop and the rpms drop.. 3k...2k..1k....0.. and the car dies.. then i hafta sit there and crank it over for around 30 - 45 seconds to get it to start up..

Once the car gets warmed up everything is well and it runs like a champ...

Im afraid I am going to run my battery down one of these cold mornings trying to start it and be stranded..

This may not be your case, but if I see cold driveability problems, and the engine is ok when it's warm, I always suggest looking at the coolant temperature sensor. Check it out by going to Autozone who checks it for free. Look at your temp sensor to see if it's close to where it should be. Check for coolant temp codes.

If that proves ok, we can try other things.
