98 gsx body's worth

I am thinking of buying this gsx it had an engine fire. All I need everything under the hood. Is it worth 500 dolars?

Yeah, if that is all that is wrong with it. If the fire was contained to JUST the engine and did not start going into the firewall. Melting sensors and such can be a bi*** to rundown.

Would be a nice project car. You can put all the things you want in the bay and get rid of all the unwanted shit. The miles of vacuum lines, .


After that you can call around insurance companies and others that have been TOTALED from a rear accident.


Damn, I would be all over it for $500 depending on what all is salvageable.
