98 esi na to t

So my question;

My friend has a 1998 Talon ESI 5speed with 81,xxx miles. We always talk about how it would be cool to do a na to turbo swap, or add a turbo kit but neither of us know to much about it. I know enough about cars to get the job done, I just dont know DSMs that well (I have a 95 TT Supra i'm building). Anyways, is 81,xxx miles on her car going to be too many to just bolt on a turbo kit? Im not looking to spend a ton of money or make a 10 second car, just step it up from the NA world. I understand that DSM cant take a crap load of power on stock internals. What is the best kit to run for a stock esi that will retain durability and not kill her car in 25k miles? What parts do you have to change in the esi to make it compatible wiht a turbo? Or must you just swap out the motor, or rebuild it stronger? Also what amount of money would the different routes take?

To turbo that car, you cannot just swap out the 420a for a 4g63. Its possible but it will take alot of time/money/effort. To throw a turbo kit on it, will roughly get you to the stock 4g63 hp output. Check out hahn racecraft for turbokits.
