So forgive me if not allowed. Still learning.
Looking for some knowledge on an issue I ran into and perhaps possible solutions.
I bought a 1998 Eclipse from someone recently, and I finally got around to working on some of the problems with it. well I was going to replace my parking brake yesterday and when I got around to taking the rotor off, I notices I was missing the brake shoes, and pretty much all of the hardware needed for the parking brake. In specific I am missing the Parking Brake lever and pretty much everything else I cannot get from a typical parking brake hardware kit (Springs, adjustment, etc.) which if I am not wrong is necessary for parking break operation?

Is there any way these parts can be ordered? I am honestly at a loss and would appreciate any pointers I can get.
If needed or requested I can provide pictures but I am not quite sure how helpful that would be seeing that what I am trying to ask about is just missing all together.

Let us know what model you have as that helps, if its got rear rotors and internal drums the springs can be bought as a kit and the oval springs are still able to be had from mitsu as they are the same from the evo, you maybe able to get the adjustment arms from mitsu if they make them for the evo still or just find a parts car at a junk yard and get the spares there, or another way is im pretty sure the US galant also uses the same rear E brake setup, the Europe versions do so i dont see why they would have changed it

It is a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS i believe, nothing fancy.
I know i can get the springs and the adjustment arms in a hardware kit from my parts store same with the shoes. but what I am looking for is the Parking Brake lever itself that I believe the cable attaches to to actually engage/disengage the parking brake shoes them self.

That and I was thinking about trying to find a parts car from a junk yard but cars of similar years/builds (eclipses, evos, lancers, etc.) seem pretty rare/few and far between around where I live.

I am not sure If this would help seeing as I can't for the life of me find any kind of documentation online for 98' eclipses so its probably the wrong picture. see me But I am talking about the Parking Brake lever.
Once I am done with work I plan on getting some pictures of what im talking about/working with.

the lever will have to come from a spares car m afraid, give steve miller of miller imports a shout and he will have everything you need and ship it straight to you and its alot less hassle then finding it yourself and likely could have it by the weekend if your fast at ordering from him

I appreciate the quick responses. Will look into it and see how much damage i can do in the mean time trying to clean everything up.

One more question. I broke down and bought a haynes manual on my way into work. Is it possible i dont even need that lever. Because one of the diagrams for read disc breaks dosent seem to have one?

the RS has drums as i believe was a hydraulic master in there, the GS up did nt have such a master inside but this lever arm pulled via the cable

See the attached file. This may be of some help trying to identify the different parts.
