98 Eclipse GST Automatic WOT Slipping / Stall

Hey guys i recently just picked up a gst last week it ran great and the boost was great and everything but recently this morning i took it off for a drive and drove safely and easy for 15 miles then after i did a wot run and The rpms were bouncing its like it was trying to shift but it wouldnt and it took awhile i am guessing that is slipping? I think it was 2nd to 3rd but after that i came to stop and my car just died on me like it stalled, i started again and Now i have a check engine light so any clue?

I've checked my ATF dipstick and i have the two options of Hot and cold which i dont know but the color of the fluid was dark pink but on the rag it was like dark brown i cant really explain the color.

Its supposed to be pink..Brown is usually a sign of overheating trans fluid..Did u smell the fluid?

Yup i smelled the fluid and it didnt smell as fresh as transmission fluid but i can tell it was transmission fluid

after two days i got the car i was just pulling into the garage and then i wanted to reverse put it in reverse and the car stalled
