97 GSX engine knock small16g

Hey i picked up my first gsx last week and noticed a couple weird things.When i'm in higher gears or in boost for too long the engine will start knocking .The car has a small 16g turbo however NO FMIC, Walboro 155 pump,upgraded injectors and Full megan racing exhaust. THe guy who i bought it off of used Evoscan to tune it and i Don't think he did it correctly.It seems like the car is burning too rich The fuel pressure is set at 42 psi and it's running 14 psi of boost.


So Could it be tuned wrong? Or is it knocking because I don't have a FMIC?

you are probably too rich, bigger injectors larger fuel pump, and base fuel is off for a 2g. stock fuel pressure is 43.5 psi. Do you have an afpr? sounds like you are getting rich knock. first investment should be ecmlink and an afpr.

+1 to the ecm link, and probably a wideband O2 sensor. I hope that the stock side mount intercooler is still installed.
