ah yeah i should have known, i have a restrctor form my 6152 i was thinking about drillin out for the holset. you just talking about the plastic tray? you dont have a fuel vapor hose right below the tray? mine kind of sits funny on it but is secure. well i guess it doesnt always have a hose, but i put one on there so it could vent to the ground.

shep trans stage III comes friday, i wanna mod down to english maybe we could meet up there :thumb:

Oh I know what hose you are talking about now my baid, yea that metal hose can be bent near the subframe just a little bit and will give you room to let the plastic tray sit flat on the subframe.

Nice man! It will be nice not to need to worry about the trans letting go on ya. Priceless haha.

We could meet up there, but I work monday thru friday everyweek so it's hard for me to get up there, getting away from work and all. I have weekends off.

You are partially correct, the car that is for sale for 15k is 95eclipser car. Which is a car that has same if not more work put into it as mattasi eclipse. Either way, these are probably two of the cleanest sliver gsx on this forum.

Haha thank you for the kind words!! I made that username such a long time ago when i was in high school so embarrassing. Mattasi build is very well done! lucky you live near English. I live near JNZ :)

The best part about this thread is you can find a beer bottle in almost every post

Thank man, we gota hold it down for the nice silver 2gs. I do get most of my parts from JNZ so I am sure that is handy for you.

Haha awesome! I do what I can. When I work on my car beer is technically part of my toolbox. Never work on my car without it :D

Haha nice, I just go really slow and stare at everything I am putting together for a bit to make sure I don't forget something. Then I take a break, have a rip while I decide if I am good or not LOL. I didn't know I could spend 2 hours putting in 5 bolts LOL.

Looking good Matt.

I noticed some things missing from your firewall, did you relocate or delete?

:thumb: i spent 3 hours putting in 5 bolts.... only to remove them again, at least removing a trans only takes about 20 mins when you already have your subframe and t case off.

Hey how's it going man? Yea I lowered the battery down to the subframe, so now a lot more of the firewall shows, and makes it look less busy.

i have to agree, that the battery subframe is the single best free mod i have done!:thumb: check my build thread for the pix :p

Thanks man, yea I will for sure make some driving videos, I have just been so dang busy latly. I will forsure make one or two sometime in the somewhat near future.

good stuff, glad it was clean, im prob gonna shit myself when i see the flakes come out after my first change at 400 miles LOL where is the removable filter?

Haha yea it will be so dirty after 400miles.
Not sure on the filter? Manual trans don't have a filter, so not sure man. Maybe I missed something?

Huh I don't know man, if you find out let me know. All I know is that there is no filter on a manual trans, maybe the upgraded filter is for the auto trans they sell.

yeah but i bet you it says it on YOUR reciept also. kinda curious now.

Ok I am home now, went threw my mass amount of reciepts. I found my reciept for the transmission and also the reciept for the shipping box and it never says the word filter anywhere. I don't know man. If you don't mind to let me know if you find out anything more on that.

Just found this today and read through seven pages and gotta say dude, this is an amazing car.

Haha nice man :thumb: thanks for reading it all!
